     Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and one of the best destinations for many travelers around the world. Nestled comfortably in the Gulf of Thailand sits the elegant gem of Koh Samui, a small tropical paradise which offers a genuine aura of relaxation. In the midst of white sand, teal water, vibrant coral reefs and a wealth of coconut trees, all complimented by a slow and simple life. Nora Wellness Destination is located along the curving north end of Chaweng beach. A kingdom where you can spend your time discovering a sanctuary of pure bliss and tranquility while retreating and refreshing yourselves.
     Nora Wellness Destination is the 5-star resort where travelers can discover the tale of the Nora, the southern folk art and dance, the main characteristic theme for this resort. The intention of this project is to propose how to create a healing environment for wellness program that embraced by the sense of Nora, the southern folk dance. The intention has been interpreted into the space planning and the material selection to create the sense of exotic revitalization according to the characteristic of the Nora. All the sensory and design elements lead to the design concept of the variegation of Nora.
