This Youth Football Training Centre provides training and coaching for young football players. It also host Football-related seminar and orientation occasionally. The main objective of the project is to represent a space that will 'cheer up' the athletes both physically and mentally to continue on their training.
"The 12th man" is an essential position when playing football. The cheering crowd is a very significant factor for the players as they 'cheer up' and promote the players' physical and mental potential.
Thus, using the idea of 'cheering up' as a core idea in designing this project that will provides space that keeps on cheering up the players. The project can be divided in to 3 main parts; the inspirational area, the supporting area and the relaxing area.
The ‘inspirational space’ is designed to stimulate athletes’ ambition to train even more, enhancing their physical strength and skills. As the Changsuek Wall which exhibits the inspirational stories about Thai national football team. The exhibition includes Thai team seasonal jerseys throughout years of competition which can be interpreted as armors in countless wars Thai team had fought against.
The supporting area helps accommodating the players to improve their skills and physical strength efficiently. For instance, the gym zone that includes various types of machines and facilities which also encourage athletes to compete and challenge against one another. As well as the Biomechanic lab and Therapy room that support the users in certain ways.
‘The Relaxing Area’ is where the athletes can lie down and relax after their weary daily training. The area also encourages the athletes to have more social interaction thus makes them feel more connected as they spend their time doing activities together.
This Project will, hopefully, promote Thai national youth football team to meet the international standard eventually. Thailand will go for world cup.
