PROJECT: THE WELLDERLY RESORT

AREA: 2,021 sq.m.
 
The Wellderly Resort arises from the growing global population of active aging groups, especially foreigners, who interested in nature with Thailand as the main destination.
 
This project is located at Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, a nature-rich location in northern of Thailand, making it noticeable for the focused user group. However, the current state of the resort is still inappropriate, the resort and the surrounding nature is still improperly and ineffectively connected. Therefore, the intention of this project is to support the advantages of space and to develop more suitable use of the interior space.
 
The primary concept of this project is “living with nature” which can be achieved by bringing the nature-rich context to the interior and to the users’ daily life. Along with a recommendation program It focuses on activities that help promote the physical and mental condition of the elderly to live longevity through 3 areas: physical activity, social engagement, mental and cognitive stimulation.
