Thanathorn Orchard is well known for being top-listed orange exporter in Thailand. The company invented and developed their own orange type. Thanathorn launched their orangery valley as a tourist attraction for joining activities and purchasing orangery product. Nevertheless, trend of tourism is change and the business is dull and gradually in the red. The renovation of the project aims to evaluate and present new experience together with the rebanding of Thanathorn orangery valley, new version of Thanathorn Orchard. Thanathorn orangery valley’s intension is to give the guests luxury and premium experience. The product would be progressed variously, orangery alcohol, dried orange, and orangery incense thus many activities are prepared for joining and learning. Moreover, the well-designed architecture and interior space is definitely combined with the sense of every single orange type taste in Thanathorn orangery valley.
Designed area is separated into 4 main buildings, thana common, orangery journey, club valley, and villa valley. Firstly, thana common is area for every client checking in both residential and non-residential. Shogun orange, the first type of orange that is ready to be harvested of the season, is the main design concept of thana common. Non-residential guest welcoming lounge is on upper floor and lower floor is reserved for residential guest register.
Secondly, the main area of the Thanathorn orangery valley, orangery factory. This learning area is for those who are interested in orangery. The design inspiration is from sweet honey orange, orange type initially developed by Thanathorn Orchard. The area is combined with manufactory area, café and souvenir shop, and workshop area. The restaurant is located on the upper floor giving the taste of sweet honey orange by overall mood of the interior space and elements.
Thirdly, residential club house. Due to target customers, mitch market group, the idea of design is influenced by oversea orange. Mandarin orange is for thana rotunda, the club house, and spa area. Cara orange is the mood for all-day dining restaurant, resto-rang.
Finally, residential for guests. Every room type is represented the sense of orange processing, dried orange. The texture of the materials is specially rich and tense making the guests not only see but sense the space.
