PROJECT: PHU PRAEWA ORGANIC STAY
STUDENT : KRONGCHAN THANAVACHIRANUKUL
LOCATION: CHIANG RAI, THAILAND
AREA: 3,185 sq.m.
The Phu Praewa Organic Stay Project.
A resort hotel that blends the new lifestyle of eco agricultural luxury situated in the province of Chiang Rai, surrounded by It’s nature and beauty.
The province is also the leading number one producer of Agricultural products in the north of Thailand, giving the tourists an opportunity to experience nature and the beauty of the countryside. With a High Concern for well-being & an Eco-Friendly approach to the Lifestyle Tourism. Guests will receive the true organic experience also known as “สัจจะโดยแท้จริง” (The Honest Truth.).
The project is in-charge of all the steps from the top-bottom, whether it be the production & preparation of goods, The processing of Goods, as well as providing the Hospitality & Accommodations for the guests.
Details of the 5 services are.
1. Phu Praewa Stay Resort & Accommodation, that allows guests to be close to nature, with up to five choices in rooms to choose from.
2. Phu Praewa Organic Farm & Learning. The project in-charge of providing guests with fresh organic delightful meals as well as education & implementation workshops on how agricultural practices are done, A Restaurant that serves fresh from the farm for guest’s and non-hotel guests and lastly our local Chef Table.
3. Phu Praewa Life providing out guests with natural herb spa’s, Traditional Chicken Coop Spa, and lastly detoxification with coffee beans.
4. Phu Praewa Market, where we introduce products from our local communities for you to purchase.
5. Phu Praewa & Friends a Collaborative project with the Organic Farming Community to implement Organic Products within the Project.
The Idea behind the design is “Cultivation Experience”. The location will provide the Experience through itself, by interactions of interest from tourists towards the Agricultural ways of the locals. Whether it be their simple way of life or the beauty behind their wisdom in solving problems, All of these elements will allow our guests to experience and appreciate their way of life and the beauty of agriculture. Even the slightest subtle details of a ripening fruit will be expressed in the resort’s architecture & design, The nature changing It’s beautiful colors each and every season, giving the guest a different experience & memory each stay. Lastly the resorts efforts in designing the establishment to allow the guest to feel as they’re on an organic farm, mixing elements of Thai Farms & Western Farms as well as the usage of Agricultural Slants and blending them together to create the unique accents of the resort. The design aims to lean on nature for resources rather than externally, using natural light & natural air. Maintaining the balance and being humbled by mother nature and her beauty.
